Organic Chinese Pu Erh Tea

Winner of 3 stars at the Great Taste Awards 2018

Nominated 'Golden Fork Supreme Champion 2018'

"Light, comforting, earthy truffle-like nose, almost seaweed aroma. Deep chestnut brown colour. Earthy, smooth, gentle, matcha-like flavour. Smooth lightly smoky flavour with a hint of wood bark. Clean and resfreshing with a lingering depth too. Would be very comforting after a meal or curled up by the fire." - Judges of Great Taste Awards 2018

A very special variety, organically produced in the Yunnan province. After the actual fermentation the finely worked leaves are again moistened to start post-fermentation. Storing the tea afterwards for several months guarantees the expressive character with the typical earthy, slightly sweetish note, the full body and the dark, reddish cup.
