Traditional Russian Black Tea Blend
Origin: Hubei province, China
Blended in Hubei, this composition of sweet, earthy and smokey black leaves from different gardens is produced after a traditional recipe that has been popular in Russia for a long time.
Preparation:Step 1: Bring water to boil.Step 2: Add 3 tablespoons of Russian Samovar to the pot / samovar and add boiling water.Step 3: Let the black tea concentrate to steep for at least 15 minutes. Step 4: Before serving the tea, add hot water to the concentrate in the pot to taste. (Traditionally hot water is poured into the cups individually from the samovar)Step 5: Add sweetener or quality jam to sweeten the tea.
We recommend adding a splash of whole or semi-skimmed milk to our breakfast & flavoured black teas. Use 1 heaped teaspoon of loose leaf tea per cup & 1g of matcha per 100ml.
