When preparing loose leaf tea in the Western method you need to calculate around 2-3 g per cup (150ml water). Our tea spoons help you to spoon the right amount of leaves each time. The longer spoon is more comfortable to use as it reaches to the bottom of the tea pouches and caddies.

When preparing matcha, the amount of the powdered tea is just as important as the amount of water used - our matcha spoon helps you to measure the right amount of powdered tea per person (100ml water).

White & Green Tea 70-80 °C 1-3 minutes
Oolong, Black Tea & Pu Erh 85-100 °C 2-3 minutes
Herbs, Fruits & Spices 100 °C 5-10 minutes*

 

We recommend adding a splash of whole or semi-skimmed milk to our breakfast & flavoured black teas.  Use 1 heaped teaspoon of loose leaf tea per cup & 1g of matcha per 100ml.
